Formal Business Greeting Cards
It bears keeping in mind when choosing business Christmas card designs that those printed greetings are still a way of marketing to your customers. Unless you're involved in a hip and trendy type of industry, you probably want it to reflect a certain level of professionalism and formality that mirrors your organization's values.
Here are a few suggestions to make sure you get that desired message across.
1. Check the quality of the paper that will be used. If the stock stationery feels too cheap, don't be afraid to ask for something better.
2. Choose an appropriate design. With formal business Christmas cards, the default design is usually a backdrop of snow-covered trees or a similar traditional rendering. If you have a better idea that conveys your business ideals and is similarly appropriate to the occasion, go with that.
3. Use appropriate tone for the greetings. You can be funny, if you wish, yet remain formal. Hire a copywriter if needed to get your best sentiments across.
4. Before mailing them out, add an extra formal touch such as a satin ribbon, matte sticker or wax seal. They won't add much to the extra cost but do so much for your holiday card's presentation.
